Without one, Singapore's Intestate Succession Act determines how your estate is divided — a fixed legal formula that may not reflect your wishes at all. Assets can be frozen for months. Family members may disagree. Decisions that should have been yours end up in the hands of the courts.

Things people usually ask.

What is included in the $99?

A professionally prepared Will covering your asset distribution, executor appointment, and guardians for minor children where relevant. This includes up to 2 revisions before the document is finalised, and an in-person signing session.

Does the $99 cover both me and my spouse?

The $99 covers one individual Will. Couples who wish to have separate Wills — which is generally recommended — would each be $99. Both can be done in the same sitting.

What about my CPF and insurance policies?

CPF savings and insurance policy payouts sit outside your Will entirely — they are governed by separate nominations made directly with CPF Board and your insurer. We will go through this during your consultation and advise on what you may need to update.

Does getting married affect my Will?

Yes. Under Singapore law, marriage automatically revokes any existing Will. If you marry after signing your Will, you will need to write a new one. We recommend reviewing your Will after any major life event — marriage, divorce, the birth of a child, or a significant change in assets.

What if my situation is more complicated?

The $99 Will is designed for straightforward estates. If your situation involves multiple properties, overseas assets, a business, a blended family, or other complexities, we will let you know during the free consultation and discuss what approach makes sense. There is no pressure to proceed with anything you are not comfortable with.

What happens at the in-person meeting?

We sit down together and go through your wishes — your assets, who you want to benefit, who you trust to carry things out, and any specific instructions you have. You do not need to prepare anything formal. Just come ready to have an honest conversation about what matters to you.
